The machines compliant with the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU are designed taking into account the potential sources of ignition, including internal to the process, in order to prevent the ignition of layers and clouds of combustible dust. The customer is provided with all the information on the available versions so that they can identify the most suitable variant for their process.
Our machines are always produced in accordance with our Type Examination Certificate, under the control of the EUROFINS Notified Body.
Depending on the case, particular care and attention is paid to the internal parts most in contact with the product (hoppers, augers, valves, belts, vibrating channels...), as well as to the various accessories and complementary organs (level controls, thermostats, pressure switches, vibrators, bridge breakers...).
For the parts not in contact with the product, in the immediate vicinity of the critical points (bagging), where the possibility of the formation of explosive mixtures due to possible or probable dust deposits are greater, all possible precautions are taken by building equipment that limit the dust escaping as much as possible and, in any case, applying specifically Atex certified components for each related area.
To create systems that must necessarily give guarantees of reliability and, above all safety, in addition to the construction characteristics of each component, our machines are equipped with continuous "monitoring" to control temperatures and pressures in the positions considered most at risk, obviously with thermostats and pressure switches or any other tool that can help make the system more secure.
